Endotoxin Removal Affisorbent (Polymyxin B) (Agarose) 6B-CL, 10 ML
Datasheet
Endotoxin Affisorben consists of immobilized polymyxin B on 6B-CL. Polymyxins are a family of antibiotics that contain a cationic cyclopeptide with a fatty acid chain. Polymyxin B neutralizes the biological activity of endotoxins by binding to the lipid A portion of bacterial lipopolysaccharide. The immobilized polymixin B gel is a stable affinity matrix that resists the leaching of ligands into the valuable preparation.
