Specificity: | Recognizes a common antigenic determinant that is found in the LPS of Salmonella enteriditis (Group D), Salmonella typhimurium (Group B) and Salmonella paratyphi (Group A) . This antibody is thought to recognize the 0-12 antigen [2-D-mannose (1-4) I- ramnose (1-3)-D galactose] of salmonella LPS. A similar sequence is found in Group E, which may account for the weak cross reactivity observed with bacteria of this group. |
Purify: | Affinity purified |
